For the first time since finding Poetic Colors I’ve been wearing a different brand of eyes for the past week or so, Fashism, and I love love love them. I’ll definitely be starting a collection. For my first pair I went out on a limb and now I have brown eyes for the first time in my lives. I love the doe eyed look…not to be confused with the “deer in the headlights look” (example below) :p

I have another new favorite hair! Lohan by Lelutka..very sexy I couldn’t wait to wear it. They’ve been adding a lot to their hair collection lately and I’m not complaining one bit.

I wanted to show you a close up shot of the tram necklace…I think it’s just beautiful….as is everything else in the store. This necklace comes in a long and short version (sold separately). I thought it went perfectly with the new Chiffon skirt from The Secret Store…”an outfit to fall in love in”*

new DUTCH TOUCH & MYSTERY BLOGGER

Megan was my choice of the 2 newly released Dutch Touch skins..You buy a pack of natural, no makeup skins, then you can buy the pack of shadows and the pack of lipsticks so you can put your own color looks together…a dream for someone who can wear multiple tat layers…..(tears falling as i type)…my day will come…I know it will…and by then..there will be something else new and awesome that I can’t use because I have a mac. Hey, I told you I was a pessimist :p

Just for kicks I tried on the 2 new shape demos and I really liked them a lot. If the people that asked me about my shape are reading this now, you should go try the new Dutch Touch shapes Megan and Mensje..they could without a doubt be my cousins…or at least my second cousins twice removed.

I couldn’t resist Peqe’s Blender Wedges with this outfit. Although part of me wanted to play it safe and wear my Coco combat boots, looking at the final pic I’m glad I opted for the wedges. For one thing they are original, funky, well made and just plain cool as s&*t. Another reason is, I love the way they go with the Gfield blouse.

One last thing….I wish I could cue up some cheesy 70′s soundin’ game show music because it’s……….MYSTERY BLOGGER TIME!!!!! (cheers and applause)….This amazing blogger in denial could be the poster child for Dutch Touch, so I thought it was so funny she was standing there as I rezzed in to buy Megan. She normally wears a different color hair, so the blonde may throw you off..but…..Who’s this girl??

UPDATE: Miss Ashe Anthony guessed correctly…this is Neva Seljan of nevamind…one of my very favorite blogs. Biggest Dutch Touch fan on the grid, expert layerer (is layerer a word??) Let me rephrase…she’s amazing at layering, and one of the most modest people you’ll ever meet. She is in total denial of her amazing talents.

Vilda, Vilda, Vilda!

Yay…Christmas is over!!! Even though that sounds awful I’m sure most of you reading this can relate. Now it’s time to relax and unwind…and if you were lucky enough to receive a special holiday visit from the linden fairy, shop your ass off!

I’ve been chomping at the bit to go to Lelutka since they’ve released their winter 2010 collection, and I finally got to go..Military Glam is the theme and each piece is exquisite.

After wearing the Laqroki Christmas gift, I couldn’t wait to try Vilda on and see her sans holiday makeup. To me she seems to be a cross between Phoebe and Isabella, lovely of course. Her makeups are more on the natural side(which I love personally)…very wearable colors, nothing over the top. Also, she comes with blonde and dark brow options.

Del May has some awesome new poses since I was there last. I’ve always bought their poses individually, but this time I opted for a bundle pack of 20 poses. It comes with a notecard and you choose the poses that you want and send it back to Del May. I received my pose pack the very next day. It’s a really good value, and the poses there are unlike any I’ve ever seen…lots of really cool action poses too…I can’t wait to play with them all.

One of my personal favorite blogs is my.secondlife.free by Val Southard, creator of marukin (one of my very favorite pose shops btw). You can find an awesome freebie on any given day. For the look in this post I found 2 items off her blog, in two different entries. I don’t always credit people when it happens that way..when I’m just wearing one thing from their post..perhaps I should though..

A couple of days ago while surfing through Flickr, a look that I created caught my eye…and when I went to the girl’s page I saw that she’s been blogging outfits that I’ve put together…blogging them exactly as I did..putting none of her own touches or anything really…maybe a different hair..but the same accessories, outfits, etc. I should have felt flattered but my first feeling was annoyance. I know I didn’t make the clothes…anyone in sl who can buy those things are free to wear them…but to put them together and blog them as if she matched them all up…and of course not crediting me…I don’t know..it felt very…what’s the word….invasive? I don’t know…am I being a diva? What do you think? Would you be annoyed if someone blogged an outfit you put together? So curious about the women people who read my blog’s take on this situation…please comment

When I tp’d in to pick up the free scarf set from NoiRiLiCiouS I rezzed into a nice surprise. Out in the street, in the center of all the little shops on Rue DAntibes, they’ve set up a huge, beautiful Christmas tree with gifts from all the shops underneath it. I had so much fun going back home and opening all of my presents! Thank you to all the creators on Rue DAntibes!
