 I’ve been seeing Pink Fuel‘s new Elly all over the feeds and loving it everytime I see it…so when I got my grubby lil paws on a little L$ it was one of the first places on my list to go..just a warning..once you try it on you’ll have to have it. I couldn’t swing the fatpack(22 makeups in the fatpack!!!!), although if I could have, I would have..so after a grueling amount of time trying to decide on one single pack~sniffles and dabs a tear from my eye~ I chose pure/angelic…I was happy to find that each individual skin comes with 2 eyeshadows. Individual skins also include  3 brow options; dark, light, and red, freckle/no freckle options, and 5 different styles of lipsticks.
 Another nice surprise…Saeya Nyanda of Kyoot put the lacy white knee socks back out on the shelves after we requested it…thank you Saeya, you rock!!! The awesome thing about these socks..well, let me rephrase that…ONE of the awesome things about these socks is that they are modify, so you can tint them any color you wish! Just always remember to make copies of the originals before you start fartin’ around with them.

I thought I was finished with this post, I just needed to hop over to *muu workshop* and pick up a cute free handbag I saw on the feeds…omg I had so much fun in that store lol…freebies everywhere…tons of lucky boards, group gifts, and they are also part of the Kiyomizu Hunt…this is the first I’ve heard of this hunt but I’m definitely going to get some more loot today…I found some great info on the hunt here, if you’d like to read more about it.

 The bedroom set and stuffed rabbit were all free prizes from the Kiyomizu Hunt at *muu workshop*…just look for the little stuffed ninja kittys (they’re really easy to find) The stuffed elephant is one of several group gifts. The bed and both stuffed animals are scripted with 9 really cute animation/poses, including sit ups…loved that one, lol.

windlight dawns

I just love playing with all the different windlight settings on Phoenix…and if you haven’t looked in a while, they’ve recently added some awesome new ones to the preset list.  I’m embarrassed to say how many pics I took for this post, lol. After much sorting and sifting and deciding, I narrowed it down to a few of my favs. I guess I favored the sunset settings for this “look” because those were mostly my picks.

I took these pictures with the notion of entering one into the Shag Flickr contest…and I’m sure I still will. I just want to play around with some of them some more. Perhaps I’ll look through some photoshop tutorials and see if there is something that could give my pic some “oompht.”

I’ve never entered a photo contest before because I just don’t have enough faith in my photoshop/picture taking skills. I mean I know I’m not on a kindergarten level..maybe..3rd grade? lol..regardless…there are some KICK ASS people on Flickr..we all know who they are lol. It makes me feel nervous and self conscious to enter a photo contest….but hell…might as well :p

The pic above is the one I’m leaning toward as my first entry(you can enter 2 pics), but I feel like it needs something else…more depth maybe? More light? Any suggestions??? Please??!!!! lol

An empty pocketbook is no excuse not to go on a shopping extravaganza this weekend. There are so many hunts and free gifts going on right now, including my all time favorite, The Seasons Hunt. You can tell by all the pictures in this post I’ve been a very busy bee redecorating the bedroom in my new Blossom cottage from FunkyJunk, available at the April Chic Limited event.

The Second Life Marketplace is filled with treasures, freebies, gifts ie..you just have to know how to search them out. Try browsing your items from lowest priced to highest priced(under the advanced search option) I’ve found so many great deals that way-Like these free cups of coffee and tea from Nordari. (beverage inside is scripted to change when touched) Nordari always has awesome in store freebies, but they also have a few gifts that are only available on the marketplace.

The color.me room divider by Nordari is probably my favorite find from this entire shoot. I’m not sure if it’s available in store or not..I found it for FREE on the Marketplace. The wood and the fabric are both texture change-just click for the menu

Hello everyone! It feels like I’ve been away forever and I’m excited and hopeful to start blogging again. Thanks for the kind words while I was away, I’ve missed my blog and flickr buddies! I just needed a break badly and to put more focus on my rl…always a challenge to keep things in perspective…i mean..who wouldn’t rather be shopping and modeling designer clothes than changing poopy diapers and folding laundry?

My pocketbook needed a break too..Second Life fashion blogging is hands down, for me, the most expensive hobby/interest I’ve ever had…and it’s the designers fault…yall just make things too damn beautiful and irresistable!!! I’ve had lots of extra time to play and explore sl during my break..and i have acquired some amazing freebies that I wanted to share with you right away, while hopefully they are still available.

I’ve been doing a lot of shopping on The Marketplace. I figure it’s the sl equivalent to the Home Shopping Network since you can sit on your sl sofa in the privacy of your own home, cave, treehouse, spaceship…where ever it is that you call home in this crazy pixel world we live in.

So many awesome deals and freebies on the marketplace…you can modify your search to pull things up from lowest to highest priced…or you can look in the 0-10 Linden category..it’s a lot of fun, especially when you come across something good…
