I have a weakness for late-night shopping on marketplace sl…well, anytime of the day I guess you could say. Late at night I seem to be more generous to myself. My latest “binge” was at the (NO) marketplace store. I saw this dress, The Folds Dress, and fell in love with it. It’s very fun and whimsical..and it seems very classic to me..as if it will always be in style, at any point in time.

(NO) (nylon outfitters)  creator, Nylon Pinkney is so very talented. There is an array of unique products in her stores, not only clothes. Getting the link for this post just now, I couldn’t resist adding a couple more items to my cart. ~sighs~ I swear, I have zero self control.

still chasing shadows

Have I ever mentioned how much I wish I had the time to blog more? I think I’ve mentioned it a time or two…hundred. Now I have a new obstacle..to take the pretty shadowy location pics, I have to be plugged directly into my modem..I just can’t seem to get a strong enough connection via my router. I can still do the white background without a problem. I’d say out of about twenty or so pics taken outside of the beautiful Milk Motion main store, only 2 turned out somewhat decent..meaning with no weird lines or flaws.(see photo below)

That wouldn’t be a huge problem for a lot of people, but in my house there are these 2 really short people who love to play on the computers and they go cuckoo when they can’t get on youtube or disney.com. I find it best to just keep the peace.

I’ve been wearing Paper Doll’s Season’s Hunt dress for the past day or so and it’s so adorable..I had talked myself out of blogging it because I’ve seen it in the feeds so much..I probably shouldn’t worry about what else is being blogged and just blog what I like and what I’m wearing that day…I guess we all…well..most of us…strive to find that original style that sets us apart from the rest.

These photos were all taken in the oOo Photo Studio, a really cool FREE group gift from oOo. 48 prims, it has a white screen area for your pose stand..although it comes with a pose stand with poses in it too..it has a chaise and a stool both filled with poses…

This gift really wowwed me and I’m thinking about leaving it permanently rezzed on our beach…it’s nice to look out and see the ocean and to hear my beach sounds while I’m taking pics…very atmospheric…and as you can see from the first pic in the post, I can get the same result as I do from my orb in the sky.

Of course if it stays I’ll have to do a little landscaping, rez some plants or trees, maybe put it on a deck..or a little pier?…lol…what kind of a prim whore would I be if I didn’t??

You can replace the photos on the studio walls with your own pics. On the opposite wall theres also a place for a photo (plus the stool)…and if you mess anything up it’s all copy/mod, just rez another studio

cleaning out my closet

Ok, this is it..I keep saying it…keep griping about it…I am going to clean up my inventory…for real…and hey! what a great time to do it..Im broke! lol….

I don’t need to be shopping though…I have a blog, some people look at it..and I have beautiful clothes in my inventory that I haven’t shown you yet! Like this City to Country dress by Royal Blue. Have you seen this yet? It has an alpha layer that you wear in the hip area so its a perfect fit..perfect when you walk, pose..just imagine the perfect fitting dress…and it’s this one lol.

The bow is free at MONs for the Valentine Diva hunt (TVDH) that just began..that is a hunt that I want to look into..if they have something as cute as this bow I’m sure there are other things that I need as well..er..after I clean my inventory up that is!

the seasons hunt poppy’s picks part 1

ok, if you haven’t checked out, or started The Seasons Hunt, you seriously need to. The prizes are awesome!!!! anddd freeee!!!! I’m so excited about my loot today! I’ve been a very busy girl! I’m going to put together several different looks with all of my finds, this being my first.

I love love love the ensemble from TokiD..I did however edit the top part. The belt is connected to a bodice prim…I put the belt/bodice prim in edit mode, clicked edit linked parts, clicked the bodice prim, and made it 100% transparent. Otherwise it didn’t look right with the This is a Fawn cardigan. If you’re going to edit anything like that, always make sure and make a copy of the original piece before you start fartin’ around with it.

oh..I wanted to mention about the poses…I got the Olive Juice and Glitterati poses and they are terrific..poses that I would buy. I didn’t get the flowey poses or the Skin & Bones because both of those stores had at least 20 snowmen out I clicked all the ones I saw and never found “the one” ….I was lagging out so badly (the way you do at pose stores sometimes) and clicking all those damn snowmen, lol…getting really irritated..So I finally said screw it..I’m not going through all of this for 3 poses….HMPFT!
