I must admit that one reason it’s taken me so long to complete this post is, I’ve been playing around with windlight settings. There are so many amazing ones available to download. Strawberry Singh has very simple directions on how to download them and add them to your sky settings, here. You’ll also see that she has some of her own wl settings available to download, plus a list of links to some of her favorite ones.

for the longest time i’ve had a favorite “go to” pair of short shorts in sl…I think the new Feel Free shorts by Boom may have taken their place…and please no comments about my bony ass…Poppy has been drinking chocolate milkshakes every day working on filling out These shorts look amazing with a full juicy booty…just sayin….they really do!

speaking of the pic below of course Why can’t more men in sl  put more effort, more personal touches, into their avi? Don’t they know the effect it has on us girls? Chances are, if you’re a male reading my blog, you do put effort into your avi..but you know the ones I’m talking about…and they get so offended when you try to help them out too.

For the longest time I thought…wow I must be really superficial if I care so much about what an avi looks like. But..I think that it 1) shows you that he is into the game as much as you are..not just some noob “logging on to get off”. 2) It also gives you a lot of insight into the person behind the avi…tells you if you’re tastes are similar…3) it shows you that they have a sense of creativity…an imagination. 4) tells you that they know that their avis are their personal works of art, basically representing who they are, or who they want the world to see them as…even if they are some sort of sci-fi creature…that still shows that you have an imagination and enjoy playing the game.

I could go on about this subject forever..oh! look! I have already..lol…and there are so many more reasons that, in my humble opinion, it is important to put work into your avi…make him or her your work of art, your representation of yourself or whatever you want to be…..those 4 reasons were just the first things that came to my mind…I’m sure there are many more numbers you could add…feel free to add them if you like

windlight dawns

I just love playing with all the different windlight settings on Phoenix…and if you haven’t looked in a while, they’ve recently added some awesome new ones to the preset list.  I’m embarrassed to say how many pics I took for this post, lol. After much sorting and sifting and deciding, I narrowed it down to a few of my favs. I guess I favored the sunset settings for this “look” because those were mostly my picks.

I took these pictures with the notion of entering one into the Shag Flickr contest…and I’m sure I still will. I just want to play around with some of them some more. Perhaps I’ll look through some photoshop tutorials and see if there is something that could give my pic some “oompht.”

I’ve never entered a photo contest before because I just don’t have enough faith in my photoshop/picture taking skills. I mean I know I’m not on a kindergarten level..maybe..3rd grade? lol..regardless…there are some KICK ASS people on Flickr..we all know who they are lol. It makes me feel nervous and self conscious to enter a photo contest….but hell…might as well :p

The pic above is the one I’m leaning toward as my first entry(you can enter 2 pics), but I feel like it needs something else…more depth maybe? More light? Any suggestions??? Please??!!!! lol

I’m proud to show you Mynerva’s other new skin, Jenny. She is available in the same shades of Kianna that I showed you in the last post…and available in the same eyeliner options as well. (see photo below)

I had mentioned before that it has been since the middle of last year since Rhapsody Wilde has had a new release. biggest mystery skin challenge ever!!! SOLVED (see comments!)

Ok, I say this is the biggest Mystery Skin Challenge ever because this skin is by one of my all time favorite skin creators, she hasn’t had a release out in a long while…since some time last year…and I have been so excited about her new skins…and it’s not out yet! She said it would definitely be out by the Skin Fair if not before. Can you tell which awesome creator made this skin??

While putting this look together I decided to try some different eyelashes so I went through my very thick eyelash folder..and found some Laqroki ones that I’ve had forever and I just fell in love with them (Laqroki Mascara Black Flirty)..I don’t think I’ve ever worn them before now!

Willow is the first skin I’ve tried by Iren. I got her at TDR a few weeks ago and I really like the way she looks…her brows being my favorite part I think…Nice and full and young looking brows…not over plucked. I know every blogger has her/his personal favs and I have to admit, Glam Affair skins are at the very top of my list. Last night when I received a review folder from M4rilyn Magic of the Glam Affair team, I hurridly wiped all of my projects that I had been working on off of my mental desk and onto the floor and greedily opened the package…my heart stopped for a moment when I saw what was inside..  Introducing Glam Affair’s new  apparel collection Nero, and their new skin, Jadis.

I am in love with Jadis. She is all of my favorite things about Glam Affair skins bundled into one skin. All you have to do is look at the pics to see how beautiful I am she is. lol…jk hahaha.

I had the most awesome time ever taking these pics..I stayed up until 4 am last night…I couldn’t stop!  The entire collection is black and fabulously sexy.
