If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been venturing out of my safe, little photo orb more lately. Lately as in, since I’m able to view shadows. Lol, I just imagined a follower reading this and shaking their head saying, “she’s not going to talk about them damn shadows again, is she??” No, I am not..well I guess I kind of just did, but I was leading up to something else. Location.
We all know that there are literally thousands of awesome places in sl to take pics, some well known, and some waiting to be discovered. I’m betting that most of us also know that exploring the grid, looking for different photo locales is an experience within itself. Anything is possible in this world! If you have the time, that is.
That’s something else that I’ve bitched about mentioned quite often. How I wish I had more time. So lately I’ve been collecting LM’s and doing some googling on places to take photographs in second life, or.. beautiful, unique places in second life..whatever key words i can think of at the time.

The showcase section, located in the destination guide (found in the search section of your viewer, or here) has a lot of neat places to take pictures. I’ve also got a special landmark folder that I call “cool places”…yes, I know, such a snazzy, original name. When I’m out shopping, or on a hunt, or whatever, and I see a place that I like, I landmark it and drag it into said folder.

I wanted to share a very helpful post I found in Through Salamander’s eyes,  by Moniq Salamander. I am keeping this page bookmarked for sure. There are all sorts of different tips and lists. There is a list of links called Locations and there are some really good ones, and some great sources to find more!

morning quickie

I don’t have a lot of time this morning, but I’ve been wanting to get a post up so badly…I feel like it’s been forever. Lately my days are consumed of caring for others, then at night when it’s finally “my turn” I’m so exhausted I’m asleep before my head hits the pillow. I’ve gone from Poppy Panache, Blogger to Poppy Panache professional taxi and butt wiping service. :/

I think I’ve had this outfit on in sl for close to 2 weeks..thank goodness it’s so cute I don’t really mind. The top is a new item from Crazy..I love how girly and vintage it looks. I paired it with Milk Motion’s new shorts and glitter bag, plus some of my favorite pieces of jewelry. I topped everything off with croire’s derby sunhat, which is FREE if you join the group! The necklace and earrings and ring(right hand) are undefined lilies new yardsale stroll pieces. If you haven’t gone to undefined lilies lately you should check it out..she has a bunch of awesome new things…and they are available on the marketplace as well!

I’ve been wearing Paper Doll’s Season’s Hunt dress for the past day or so and it’s so adorable..I had talked myself out of blogging it because I’ve seen it in the feeds so much..I probably shouldn’t worry about what else is being blogged and just blog what I like and what I’m wearing that day…I guess we all…well..most of us…strive to find that original style that sets us apart from the rest.

This is the first season since I’ve blogged that I didn’t participate in The Seasons Hunt..I usually do a big post with all of my loot…and as always there is some excellent loot. I couldn’t resist Zenith’s ruffled cherry print top when I saw it at The Fashion Garret a few days ago…and my red Mstyle Rivea Pumps were screaming to be worn with it. I’ve said it before I’ll say it again; these could possibly be the sexiest shoes on the grid. imho that is.

I’ve ventured out of my bubble once again..trying a little variety. These pics were taken in front of Poetic Color/kusshon..I was there picking up kussion’s free July gift (located in the front of the kusshon store)..they also have a new Poetic Color outlet store with all of their discontinued eye colors on sale for 100L$ a pack. The notecard stated that they weren’t sure how long the outlet would be up so take advantage of it asap..their older colors are actually my favorite, and include my all time favorite eyes ever, shallow water (worn in this post).

I’m in head to toe SMS in this shoot..well…actually ear to knee lol..SMS doesn’t sell hair and you can’t see my feet but I still haven’t been able to take off my new Maitreya Allegre heels, from the last post…I know we bloggers usually love to mix things up and wear items from many creators..but I loved this look so much I decided to throw caution to the wind and wear all SMS…I know, I know…I’m a rebel what can I say?? :p

While on my posestand a couple days ago trying to find the right spot on our beach to model Kyoot’s awesome new bikini, I kept camming over and admiring my neighbors beautiful land..she/he..I’m not really sure to tell you the truth… has it fixed up like a tropical paradise. It’s without a doubt one of the best landscaping/decorating jobs I’ve seen in sl. And I’ve never seen anyone there either. It was so easy to go into a birds eye view and move myself and my posestand over there with one simple move…and this is where I landed, lol..well..pretty much…I may have done a little adjusting .

So hopefully my mystery neighbor isn’t a reader of my blog, and if they are, they will forgive my trespassing..it really is the highest compliment..I couldn’t help myself!
