I’m so very excited to see Laqroki back in the biz. I’ve worn Laqroki skins for the  majority of my sl. I’m quite taken with the new Glam Affair skin from my last post, but the temptation was too strong, I had to try one of the new Laqroki skins. Their new skin line is called The Fresh and Essential Skins and features Mix and Match; all facial features are on tattoo layers, which makes it possible to create your own unique look!  I haven’t had time to play around with it like I’d like to but I am very curious to mix and match and see what sorts of looks I can come up with. Here are some great examples of the different looks you can create  from the Laqroki Blog. Laqroki has also released body appliers for Slink Mesh Physique, and Maitreya Mesh Body, Lara. (They have appliers for the new Fresh and Essential Skins and the Glow skins from before as well…yay!!!)  The appliers are yours for FREE the first week after release ❤

Giz Seorn of GizzA Creations’ new Collection, The Frida Inspiration Gown is a true masterpiece. Inspired by the works of  legendary Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, this gown is rich in Mexican culture. Vibrant, eye-catching red and yellow hues throughout, and the skirt adorned with images of two of *Diego Rivera‘s most famous pieces of work, “Mercado de flores” and “The Flower Seller”.  A beautifully detailed rose headpiece and a hand-held lily flower (with and without pose options) complete the look. The lily flower is not shown in this post, but here are a couple of amazing pictures that I found on the blog Urban Legends by Natsumi Kangjon if you’d like to see it. 🙂

*Contrary to popular belief castanets are not used in the Flamenco…nor are they Mexican, but Spanish instruments. I really love them with this outfit though. I found these on the marketplace, created by Una Daxter. When the left one is attached the action begins lol. You can hear the click click sounds and your avi does a funny little Flamenco-like dance..GREAT for driving your friends insane! For the pics I copied the right one and just used two rights because she wouldn’t even stay still on the pose stand when I attached the left…she was clickety-clickin’ all over the place.

Glam Affair has released new Maitreya Chest Enhancer/Dehancer Appliers. The shot above shoes the normal Glam Affair skin on the left and the dehancer on the right. It smooths out all the shadows, and if you prefer a smaller chest like I do you will absolutely love it. I didn’t show the one for Cleavage/Enhancement, but they have a picture on their blog that will give you a good idea, here. I didn’t have the dehancer on for the pics in this post (only the one showing the dehancer lol)..this dress called for a little bit of cleavage. Isn’t sl great?

Venus by Belleza

So, after reading many reviews I finally had to break down and get the Belleza Mesh Body, Venus. I’m dying to do a review-type post of the 3 mesh bodies I’ve acquired so far, to tell you my favorite parts about each body. For my first “look” with Venus I decided to try a Belleza skin with her. It’s been years since I’ve bought a skin from there so I took a bunch of demos home and decided on Claudia in Medium. All of their skin tones are provided in the hud, and a very large percentage of skin creators are now offering Belleza Venus appliers. A few of the major selling points for me on Venus were: The overall design of the body. I know that it is fitted mesh therefore modifiable, but there is still a difference. The Maitreya Mesh body, Lara is designed to be curvier for example. These are my favorite boobies of any mesh body I own, and I love that it has a large collection of nipple color choices. Not to mention all of the hand poses on your hud. The neckline was also a big selling point because I’ve been having an issue with that with my Maitreya body. It could be my computer, but I don’t think all of it is. I was also pleasantly surprised at the price. It’s still not cheap but it is no 5000 L$ either.

There are so many things to show and tell about Venus and I hope that very soon I’ll be able to create the post I mentioned at the beginning of this one. I can’t wait to try Venus with my Glam Affair skins, so many things I want to do, so little time. I will say this..Belleza’s Venus is my favorite of the 3 mesh bodies I own. I love them all of course but if I had to choose a fav, it would be this one.
